Seiser+Seiser have posted some photos of the architecture and engineering building at Bath university by the Smithson’s. Here’s to soon saying goodbye to a year full of education cuts all around the world.
I’m intrigued by the literalness of this elevation. Slabs, openings, stairs, structural elements. It just seems to give you all you need to know. I wonder what prompted such an architecture. Is this a manifestation of 80s Thatcherite TINA policies? Efficiency made formal? Well, no matter what, goodbye 2010!
